About Toolsbase

Toolsbase is an online tool collection designed to streamline repetitive tasks for engineers, designers, and business professionals. It offers JSON formatting, character counting, image conversion, BMI calculation, loan calculation, regular expression testing, password generation, and more — covering web development, data processing, calculation, image editing, and agile development support.

This site is operated by Localstyle Inc. (founded 2018, Nakano-ku, Tokyo). Content is planned, written, and reviewed by the Toolsbase Editorial Team, drawing on international standards such as W3C, IETF (RFC), ECMA, and ISO; the official documentation of each language, framework, and tool; and public documents from government bodies including the U.S. NIST, Japan's National Tax Agency, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Financial Services Agency.

Our Mission

There are many online tools on the web, but it can be hard to tell which ones are trustworthy, whether their sources are clearly cited, or whether you need to jump between different sites for every small task. The Toolsbase Editorial Team exists to address these concerns.

Our goal is a tool collection that is reliable enough for daily professional work. Calculation tools cite the relevant official standards and academic sources, and data conversion tools follow the RFCs and specifications strictly. Tools in YMYL areas (health, finance, tax, and other high-impact domains) always include editorial credits, references, and disclaimers.

We keep the design simple and responsive so the site is comfortable to use on mobile phones, tablets, and desktops. Toolsbase currently supports Japanese and English, so team members who speak either language can share the same tools.

About the Toolsbase Editorial Team

The Toolsbase Editorial Team is made up of members with hands-on experience in web development, front-end engineering, security, data processing, and agile development. The team handles every stage of each tool and article, from planning and writing to review and final verification.

Our editorial principles are: (1) cite primary sources — official specifications, international standards, and government publications; (2) define technical terms the first time they appear; (3) publish only examples that have been verified to work; and (4) always include disclaimers in YMYL areas. Full details are available on our Editorial Policy page.

If you find an error in a tool or article, please let us know through the contact form. The editorial team will review the report and correct the issue as soon as possible. Reader feedback is a key part of how we maintain Toolsbase's quality.

Our Commitment

Primary-source editing

Every tool and article cites primary sources such as W3C, IETF (RFC), and official government publications. We only publish information with a clear evidentiary basis so you can use it confidently in your work or studies.

Supervision for YMYL tools

Tools that touch health or finance — BMI, loans, taxes, compound interest — always cite reference standards (WHO, Japan's Financial Services Agency, National Tax Agency, NIST, etc.) and carry a disclaimer. For important decisions, we always recommend consulting a qualified professional.

Accessibility

Built with WCAG guidelines in mind. We support screen readers, keyboard navigation, and dark mode to ensure every user has a comfortable experience.

Continuous updates

Each tool is updated as specifications and standards change. Every page shows its last-updated date so you can confirm how fresh the information is.

Fast & Lightweight

Powered by Next.js for fast page loads and smooth performance. Optimized for mobile connections, so the site works well even on the go.

Reader feedback

Questions and corrections submitted through the contact form are reviewed by the Toolsbase Editorial Team and reflected in new features and content updates.
