Frequently Asked Questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Rotation and flip operations use Canvas API in your browser. Image data is not transmitted to any server.

What file formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF formats are supported. Transformed images are saved in the original file format.

Does rotation affect image quality?

For JPEG images, output is saved at high quality (92%), so there is virtually no visible quality loss. PNG, WebP, and GIF formats have no quality loss.

Why are some of my phone photos rotated sideways?

Smartphones embed rotation information in EXIF metadata rather than physically rotating the pixel data. Some apps and platforms don't honor this metadata, causing images to appear sideways. Rotating and re-saving the image corrects the orientation permanently.

What is the maximum file size?

You can upload image files up to 10MB.
